Odd behaviour with 2.4.0 ... newsgroups "disappearing" ...

I have a mail2news/news2mail gateway setup with the postgresql mailing
list(s) ... everything runs great in both directions, but periodically it
just starts spewing "No valid newsgroup" messages when mail2news is trying
to post ... stoping/starting the news server corrects the problem until it
happens again ...

the last time it happens *appears* to be jsut after running news.daily ...

but there doesn't appear to be any errors that I can see, or any
permissions problems :(
