Odd behaviour with 2.4.0 ... newsgroups "disappearing" ...

Just as a followup, I just manually ran news.daily lowmark, and it did it
again ... figuring to try a 'ctlinnd reload active ""', it *appears* to
have fixed the problem, but it seems to do it for no reason that I can
tell :(
