CNFS offset problems

If you could figure out what message it is that got stored past the end of
the buffer, you could just ctlinnd cancel that one, and that might do it.
Although it does seem like something weird is going on, like INN has a
different concept of the buffer size in one place than another.  I've not
seen this problem before.
