The same happened to one of my test boxes:

The machine was running CURRENT-20030101, when it lost one disk. So
I decided (after replacing the disk) to do a fast fresh start (deleted
history, overview, spool, recreated buffers etc.), the configuration
of that machine remained untouched.

After a few days, my logs were suddenly full with dozens of MB of this
stuff:

Jan 16 21:09:12 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6400200, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:09:12 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6400400, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:09:17 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6400600, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:09:17 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6400800, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:09:17 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6400a00, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:09:17 nautilus innfeed[30644]: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6400600, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:10:32 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6400c00, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:10:32 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6400e00, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:10:32 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6401000, min = 8000, max = 6400000
Jan 16 21:10:32 nautilus innd: CNFS-sm: CNFSUsedBlock: invalid offset 6401200, min = 8000, max = 6400000

Because I had no time for debugging, I fetched CURRENT-20030116 and
again cleaned all files (history, buffers etc.). The machine seems
to run fine now, but it's only up for 3 days ...

Let me know if I should supply any additional information about the
machine's hardware/configuration/OS/...

Bye,
Bettina
