I tested some more tonight.
Newly posted articles didn't show up. The arrived in the article
spool, but weren't visible from a newsreader client.
After some RTFM and experimenting I found out that I shouldn't have set
the parameter 'useoverchan' to 'true'. Turning it off solved my problem.
So it looks like I have a fully functional newsserver now.

BTW: I hope that the wrong useoverchan setting has no bad
consequences, except that some articles will not be readable.
Is this correct?
