Question about group

Dear all,

I set up an INN v.2.4.1 on Redhat Linux 8.0 machine
by compiling sources. Put the configuration file
as the installation guide. I started the innd and
I can telnet 119 and it looks fine.

But I found the user can only list the group, whenever
they issue command group with valid group name, the
inn returns "502 Permisson denied". Is there anyone
has similar experience?

The readers.conf file has just with following lines.


auth localhost {
  hosts: "localhost, 127.0.0.1, stdin"
  default: "<localuser>@<localhost>"
}

access full {
   users: "<localusers>@<localhost>"
   newsgroups: *
}
