I'd forgotten about overchan... yeah, it's pretty much the same as
ovrestore, except that overchan does not create the newsgroups in
overview, which is required for a from-scratch restore.
Most of the effort went into the ovdump side. The restore function is
trivial by comparison. I made up the dump format on the fly; I guess
it could be modified to match what overchan uses.
By the way, we should extend the overview API so that OVsearch returns
the 'Expires' value as well. Weren't you making some changes to the
overview API in the current tree a while back? I'll have to look that
over.
