Ok, Just first put a new line under nic.near.net and then had comment the
line :Tf,Wnm: and this got my innd to not work so I make 3 new lines for
nic.near.net and comment to old ones out and restar innd and it work then.

My own typing again and it should have been inpaths.
I have then made a new directory as /var/log/news/path with permission as
news.news rwx r-x r-x (0755)

Ok, so is it if it then works now.
