Taylor is what I used to run between here and rahul.net, and it really 
pushes the network, since it is in batches. Of course "back when" in the 
90s we were using all uucp over Telebit Trainblazers with the protocol 
support built into the modem. UUCP is still a very good protocol for low 
speed connections for news/mail.

If you have any problems setting it up I might have the backups from 
sixhub, which was the machine I used to provide dialup feeds to 
customers in this area.
