Ah yes, that's a typo. Good catch.

Right now, using invalid syntax like that will indeed trigger
unexpected results, but there is enough checking to make sure
it will not cause things like hangs, crashes or security holes.

One could write a warning to the logs I guess, that would be
helpful for someone debugging his or hers  configuration.
