Newsgroup user permissions

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how best to configure permissions to access
particular newsgroups and I have a few questions.

1. In the readers.conf file I want to setup user permissions to
my newsgroup named EXAMPLE. I have a text or csv file with a list of
5000 users who I want to access the newsgroup. My question in the
example below, can you specify a file with a list of users within the
"users: < >" field? Or would I have to list out all 5000 users?

 access <EXAMPLE> {

       users: < /opt/lists/exampleuserlist.txt >

       newsgroups: < EXAMPLE >

}

2. If you are authenticating off LDAP or NIS+ or Active Directory can
you restrict newsgroup access by groups off the
LDAP/NIS+/ActiveDirectory servers?

Thanks,

Kevin
