remove scanlogs cruft

Hi,

while looking at the "nomail" stuff, I noticed two more things in
scanlogs...

This patch cleans up a little cruft (${T}, ${PROBS}) left in scanlogs
since its rewrite by Gary Palmer in September 1997.
