gating mailman <-> inn2, message duplication

Did you manage to solve your issue, following the discussion which took 
place in news.software.nntp?

Do not hesitate to tell us how to improve the manual page of news2mail 
or other programs, as well as the comments in the default configuration 
files (like newsfeeds) to facilitate the configuration for future users.

Should it be mentioned in the newsfeeds sample file that this is not 
necessary as Mailman can be configured to pull the news itself?  Is it 
what you finally did?  And if that is the case, what needs to be 
configured in INN to make gatewaying work with current version of Mailman 3?
