We are running on the recommended platform RedHat 10.1.

We have done substantial cleanup on our old dhcpd.conf file.

Note, keama hangs when we had subnet with options, pool with range and then more options.
This was corrected by moving the options above the pool directive.

We continue cleanup with the source dhcpd.conf file but don’t know if everything can be fixed in dhcpd.conf or if we need to do major work on the conversion output file.
If there is a source file fix please help us find the correct steps.

Remaining errors include, in order and several I expect to be trivial, so please ignore the ones that are, though a procedural fix would be appreciated rather than a line-by-line approach.

No interface config for some subnets – I don’t believe this is a problem Most subnets are on the primary interface and represent DDNS subdomains.
Unsupported ddns-update-style.
Unspecified ddns-domainname – what we are hoping for is a default domain name for unqualified hostnames reservations and dynamic.

Update-static-leases obsolete feature, probably readily corrected or removed.
The most frequent error, and I’m sure directly related the ddns-domainname issue is

We also believed that while we had some subdomains with no available pool and no DHCP clients that declaring the subnet helped ISC DHCP understand network topology.
Was that valid, and is it something we wish to retain on Kea’s config?
