Are you running the msgq daemon?

OpenReg should be run using this order:

for i in msgq log-monitor stats-monitor whois xaction epp-frontend

   nohup $OPENREG/sbin/$i 1>>/var/log/openreg-$i.log 2>&1 &
   sleep 1
   echo "done"
done

echo -n "running write-zone .. "

I have a fork of openreg which I have modified since '04 which is up
and running for NIC.VE (Venezuela).
I can provide a copy of it if you like and maybe you can help me out
mantain it.
