In 2009, when Comcast gave us these netbooks, there were two netbooks
with ExpressCard slots - the Lenovo S10 (what we have) and the HP 2140
Mini. By 2010, there were none. In fact, I'm not even able to find a new
laptop with an ExpressCard slot. You can still find plenty of cards,
just nothing to plug them into. (The PCMCIA Association, which owns the
ExpressCard spec, has been dissolved and merged into the USB
Implementer's Forum, which is a strong indication that this is dead
technology.)
I've found a bare handful of refurbished systems with ExpressCard slots,
of which the most promising is a Toshiba A665-S5170 for $368.

For the demo, I can think of a couple alternatives:
- Use an existing netbook or laptop with a USB ethernet adapter. This
may not provide the best performance, but we're demonstrating the
protocol, not the performance. This is what I did for the PCP demo in
Quebec.
- Run the AFTR/CGN code on another CPE. We've got plenty, and we can ssh
into it for control/configuration/monitoring.
