yes. Presently. My battle with dhcp-pd continues, and if I end up
using isc-dhcp for that I can swap for dhclient...

Little puzzled about this, udhcpd basically starts hammering the external
port as soon after bootup as possible, and swapping out the "overlying"
protocol shouldn't make a difference?

(me needs to get to working emulation stage of demo setup)
