Hello Ralf,
I'm glad to hear your main problem has been solved.
If it works out of the box on another distribution/Nginx version, it may
depend on the value of any other configuration parameter whose default
value was changed between versions/distributions.
Unfortunately, I'm not a Nginx expert. It would be best to ask the Nginx
community for help configuring this software (e.g., Nginx mailing list,
forum, or subreddit).
