moving bind to another server after compilation

I have to move bind to another server after I compile it (my c compiler does not reside on the same server as my bind server).  Other than /etc and the prefix directory I define, where else does bind create/modify files? 
I don't want to miss any files in the transfer of the software to the bind server.
