Probably good enough as far as horse power is concerned.  As far as
retention is concerned, a full feed is currently hovering at ~700gb/day.

IDE works as long as you have drives that have a decent amount of cache
on them.  Also, if you have a ton of readers the performance may end
up sucking. YMMV.
